I for Icicle

I noticed the icicles when they were almost all gone. There was hardly any left. Its a beauty and I kept the camera aside and stared at it for quite a long time. Its a shame I didn't pay attention earlier.

H for Halloween

When my son was in the first grade, his homework had this question. "What do you want to be when you grow up?". His answer was,"I want to be a goats." That was how he spelled 'ghost' then :-))
Well, he got to  be one last year for Halloween. He was the ghost and he loved the costume. He even wore it at home for a few days before the school parade and all. He does make a handsome ghost, don't ya think? Ha....Halloween!!

G for Gingerbread house cake

I wanted to make a gingerbread house, but since I am a cake person I wanted it done in cake. This cake uses a hot milk cake as the base, buttercream for filling, chocolate ganache for outer frosting and red fondant for roof. The rest of the decor was whatever was there at home at that time.
Please browse down for a step by step assembling pictures.

F for Fall colors

F for Fall!
Fall colors are so beautiful and the trees look their best, which I love. It also indicates colder times ahead and bare trees, which I don't like. But then, we should enjoy everything that nature blessed us with. So enjoy these beautiful fall colors.
